Description


Users can see printers of all other users while in a terminal session. When a User prints to a printer of another user, the following error message occurs:

Cause


Users have permissions on ThinPrint printer templates (e. g. _#ThinPrint Output Gateway).


ThinPrint printer template (_#ThinPrint Output Gateway) in 'Devices' -> 'Printers'

[2] ThinPrint printer template (_#ThinPrint Output Gateway) in 'Devices' -> 'Printers'


Solution


The permissions for _#ThinPrint Output Gateway have to be set via 'Properties' -> 'Security' as follows:


AdministratorsPrint, Manage this Printer, Manage documents
SystemPrint, Manage this Printer, Manage documents
if applicable: All Application PackagesPrint, Manage documents


Delete all permissions of other accounts.
